Association Bylaws

Section 1:

An association has been founded between its members under the non-profit 1901 french rules. This association shall be known as :

" Association Française du Cheval Crème".


Section 2:
                    The object of this association is :

To preserve and ameliorate the American Creme horse. To defend the interests of the breeders and owners of the horses. More precisely :

1         To be the only representants in France of American White American Creme Horse Registry, Naper, Nebraska, USA.
2         To promote the breeding of the Crème Horse in France.
3         To encourage the selection and amelioration genetic.
4         To help in the gestion of the French Creme Horse Register by sitting at the commission of the French Creme Horse Stud Book and the commission of the Stud Book of foreign horses.
5         To promote the Creme Horse by organizing and participating in horse shows and horse events etc.
6         To regroup all the owners of the Creme Horse in France.
7         To establish contacts and exchanges with breeders and owners of Creme Horses in France and abroad.
8         To publish a newsletter.

Section 3:                     The association is based at :

La Farayrio, 81630 Montgaillard, France.

Section 4:                     The association is composed of :

a) Honorary Members                         c)  Active Members
b) Benefacters                                     d)  Inactve Members

Section 5:                     Admission:

Association membership is volontary and renual is on an annual bases. The association is open to all, breeders, owners or others without discrimination as long as they pay their annual membership. The executive committee can discipline, suspend or expell a member in case of violation of the association rules and regulations, after having informed the said member of the facts and letting him have his say.

Section 6:                   The members:

The honorary members are those who merit special recognition.
The benefacters are those who donate to the association.
The active members are those who pay an annual price for that category.
The inactive members are those who pay an annual price for that category.

Section 7:                   Radiations:

Membership rights are lost by :
a)       The demission.
b)       Death
c)       Radiation is pronounced by the executive committee for non-payment of the membership ou for all other disiplinery matters. The person concerned will be contacted by registered letter to stand before the executive committee to explain himself.

Section 8:                    The ressources of the association are :

a)    Memberships.
b)    Sponsorship, gifts, various.

Section 9:                    Executive Committee :

The Association is run by an executive committee that is comprised of 7 elected members for 4 years by the general assembly. Les members can be re-elected.

In case of the committee being pair the committee shall be  renewed every year by half, the first year the members leaving will be designed by the sort.                                                                 

Section 10:                   Reunion of the executive committee :

The executive committee will unite at least once every six months. The descisions will be made by the majority of the votes. In case of equality the presidents voix counts.

Secton 11:                   Regular General Assembly :

The regular annual general meeting shall be held in January.

Section 12:                   Special General Assembly :

The special general assembly is held when it deals with all modifications to the bylaws.
This assembly should be comprised of at least a half of the active members in good standing and must be voted by at least 3/4 of the persons present. An absent person can vote by proxy.
If the quorum is not reached at this meeting the executive committee will convoque the members once more by letter and at this next meeting voting will take place with nomatter the number of members present.

Section 13:                  Interior Regulation :

An interior regulation can be established by the exective committee. This regulation is designed to deal with the details that have not been allowed for in the bylaws notably all that deals with the internal running of the association.

Section 14:                    Dissolution:

If the association is disbanded, one or more liquidateurs will be named and the actif of the association, if any, will be disposed of conformely to the section 9 of the law of the 1st July 1901 and the decret from the16 August 1901.
